Schedule a Blood Drive

Blood drives provide a vital link in maintaining an adequate blood inventory for 15 area hospitals and medical facilities. Sixty five percent of the blood collected by Meek Blood Center is donated at blood drives.

Meek Blood Center has two blood mobiles that serve Abilene and thirty towns and communities in this area. The blood mobiles are utilized by businesses, churches, high schools, colleges and civic organizations and provide an easy and convenient way to donate blood. Bringing the bloodmobiles out into the community allows individuals the opportunity to help others by giving the gift of life.

Scheduling a blood drive is easy. Call Frances Baker at 325-670-2799 or e-mail fbaker@hendrickhealth.org. Meek Blood Center will provide everything needed to promote your blood drive, including posters and advance radio publicity. The bloodmobiles are completely self-contained and do not require an electrical hook-up. All that is needed for the blood drive sponsor is convenient and level parking and, of course, donors!
